In order to join Localgiving, your organisation must meet the following criteria:

Have charitable aims that are not solely for the advancement of religion

Operate on local / regional community initiatives and not be a national charity

Have a local / regional management committee and a UK bank account

Get free help, support and advice from certified fundraisers via phone, email and social media. 

Available 9.30am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We run match fund campaigns every 2 to 3 months to boost the value of your donations. We have distributed over £2.6m of match funding to members since 2011. 

Donations are processed safely and securely through accredited payment providers, with funds automatically transferred into your bank account.

From individuals securing sponsorship to crowd-funded community projects, we provide a full suite of fundraising pages to help you raise more online.

We process the Gift Aid so you don’t have to, automatically transferring it to your account, even if you're not registered with the Charity Commission! 

Detailed finance and marketing reports provide data to help you engage with supporters, cultivate long-term relationships and secure regular donations.

My organisation used to be a member of Localgiving, but we’re not anymore. Can we benefit from the offer?

If your organisation is a member of the FSI and your Localgiving membership expired more than 12 months ago then you are eligible to claim a free 1 year Localgiving membership through this offer. If your membership expired more than 12 months ago then please contact us directly at help@localgiving.org. 

I am an existing member of Localgiving, can I claim this offer?

Unfortunately this offer is only available to organisations that are not existing members of Localgiving. 

What happens after my first year membership runs out?

We’ll let you know via email before your membership runs out and let you know how to renew. Localgiving membership is £96 a year. 

Can I claim a free year membership and take part in your match fund campaigns?

Yes, all active members of Localgiving are eligible to take part in our national match fund campaigns, including Grow Your Tenner, #GiveMe5 and Local Hero.
