What are your eligibility criteria?
In order to be eligible to join Localgiving, your organisation must:
- Have charitable aims that are not solely for the advancement of religion
- Operate on local/regional community initiatives and not be a national charity
- Have a local/regional management committee and a UK bank account
My organisation used to be a member of Localgiving, but we’re not anymore. Can we benefit from the offer?
If your organisation is a member of one our partners and your Localgiving membership expired over 12 months ago then you are eligible to claim a free 1 year Localgiving membership through this offer. If your membership expired more than 12 months ago then please contact us directly at help@localgiving.org.
I am an existing member of Localgiving, can I claim this offer?
Unfortunately this offer is only available to organisations that are not existing members of Localgiving.
What happens after my first year membership runs out?
We’ll let you know via email before your membership runs out and let you know how to renew. Standard Localgiving membership is £96 a year.
Can I claim a free year membership and take part in your match fund campaigns?
Yes, all active members of Localgiving are eligible to take part in our national match fund campaigns, including Grow Your Tenner, #GiveMe5 and Local Hero.
When does the offer end?
In order to benefit from a free one year Localgiving membership, your organisation must have completed its registration with Localgiving before the 1st January 2018.
